Even before adopting out your puppies, you have to socialize them first. Of course, more socialization will have to be done throughout the rest of the pooch’s puppyhood, but you would be surprised with just how early you can start socializing them to do the simplest things – like knowing where to pee!
In the case of Heather the 6-week-old Golden Retriever puppy, the goal was to just get used to playing with her siblings (like Chance and Keeva) in the beautiful Wisteria Goldens! These adorable little balls of fluff made for the most wonderful sight in the open fields!
That said, they didn’t wander too far from where their toys were scattered onto the grass. There is a good reason for that – even if they weren’t scared of just how vast and open the meadow was, they could only walk so far on their short, stumpy legs! (Don’t worry, they will grow out of it.)
