The bond between puppies and kids is often special and pure. Sadly, a little boy recently had to cut short the bond he was developing with a homeless puppy in hopes of giving him a better life.
The boy had been caring for the homeless pup but knew he was not yet capable of shouldering the responsibility. Instead of leaving the pup in a random corner to fend for himself, he chose a place where someone capable would likely save him – outside a school’s front door.
The boy dropped the dog, knocked on the school’s door, and fled the scene. The school janitor, who was nearby, heard the knock and even saw the boy running away. He also saw a box with a saddening letter which read: “Sorry it didn’t have a home and it was cold, so we were going to give it to you. Please do let it go find a nice home.”
The janitor took the puppy to a teacher who loves dogs, and she accepted him and named him Snowflake. The teacher took him for vaccination and started taking good care of him.
Sadly, they still haven’t been able to contact the boy to let him know that his kindness wasn’t in vain. However, Snowflake is doing fine and has a warm place to stay.
