Lonely Husky Finally Freed from Neglect and Isolated Backyard

A neglected husky named Joey was finally freed from his lonely backyard existence thanks to the efforts of a concerned neighbor and Lee from The Asher House. The neighbor had noticed that Joey was being left outside 24/7 and was feeding him through the fence. Despite her attempts to convince Joey's parents to provide better care for him, they were unwilling to give him up.

Lee visited Joey and started feeding him as well, eventually getting to meet him face-to-face. The video of their meeting shows Joey's excitement at having human interaction. The concerned neighbor and Lee didn't give up on Joey and eventually were able to bring him to The Asher House.

It's heartbreaking to think of how lonely and neglected Joey must have felt, especially considering that dogs crave companionship and are such loyal and loving companions. In addition to the physical neglect Joey suffered, it's likely that he also experienced emotional distress from being left alone for such long periods of time.
