Lost Dog Hops Into A Cop's Car So He Can Get A Free Ride Home!

When a pup gets lost, it can be hard for them to find their way home, especially if they’ve gone far away. But Ruger managed to find the perfect way to get help that could send him back home in the cutest way possible.

Evidently, Ruger was searching for home when he saw a car with the door wide open. Seeing no one around, he slipped into the front seat and huddled up inside. And it’s a good thing he did!

The car turned out to be a police vehicle driven by Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy Hammel, who had been called to investigate a suspicious vehicle and left his door open when he got out.

Needless to say, the deputy was pretty surprised by his unexpected guest, but noticed that Ruger was wearing a tag that had plenty of information about where his home was. As he figured out the address, Ruger fell asleep in the warmth of the car and was able to wake up to seeing his home again, where his family were nervously searching for him!
