Lost Dog Reunited With Family After 15 Days!

Bianca Camacho and Kyle Silva live together in North Vancouver, British Columbia. But the two are not alone. Their family is completed by their dog, Luna. But, at the end of November, disaster struck and shook the peace of the little family.

Bianca was out on a walk with Luna when she dropped her leash. As soon as she saw she was free, Luna bolted into the park. Bianca lost sight of her, but she wouldn’t give up on the search. She called Kyle, and together they looked for Luna. But still, they couldn’t find any signs of her. So, the couple reached out to the community, and a lot of people joined the search. Even with the help of all those people, the search didn’t show any results.

Luna is 3-years-old, and she is a rescue Jindo from South Korea. The couple had adopted her five months before she disappeared. Because she had lived most of her life in South Korea, she wasn’t adjusted to the harsh Canadian climate. Plus, she is very shy and could get scared by many things, including humans. Bianca and Kyle knew they had to find her as soon as possible.

The next few weeks were absolutely horrible for the couple. They had no idea if Luna was safe or not, but they wouldn’t give up on her. After a while, they were informed that their dog had made her way to the top of the Grouse Mountain, which was quite a few miles away. The staff from the ski resort found her almost three weeks after her disappearance, hiding under a chairlift.

They warmed her up and delivered her back to her parents. Luna had lost a little weight, but she was otherwise healthy, and she is very lucky to be back home.
