Lost Dog Sobs Upon Seeing His Dad

Rustico Samson, Jr. and his family from the Philippines agonized for three months upon discovering that their dog, Coco, disappeared, and could not be found even after days and days of relentless search.

Rustico recounted how he felt such deep pain and grief every time their search for Coco failed.

“I searched every corner. I even cried as I searched,” said Rustico, “Coco is more than a pet. He’s family.”

Never waning in determination, Rustico asked friends and strangers to help him in his search and to keep watch for signs of his beloved dog. After three months, Rustico received news about a stray dog in a parking garage, believed to be Coco.

Rustico immediately rushed to where the dog was found, lying down. Upon seeing him, Rustico instantly recognized Coco. Dad and son were overcomed with so much happiness.

“You could hear him crying like a baby,” Rustico recalled the fateful episode.

From months of being on the streets, Coco appeared thin and grimy, then, but, otherwise, well.

It didn’t take long before Coco was back to his old self and their home returned to its former buoyancy.

“Good vibes are back. The house is full of positive auras again,” Rustico said, “When it comes to having a pet, it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, as long as you have heart and love them like family. When someone in your family is lost, you never give up.”
