If you have ever tried being a breastfeeding mother, you will know that sometimes it is hard to feed your child. Not everyone is blessed – and you’re only trying to feed one! (Or two, depending on your luck.) What about pups that are trying to feed their whole brood of up to 6 puppies?
Leah the Beagle pup originally only had 3 puppies of her own to care for, but then trouble befell a friend of hers – a Red Coonhound mom developed mastitis (an infection of the breast) that made it impossible for her to feed her new litter. Luckily, Leah was there to rescue!
You would think that Leah can’t possibly feed the sudden influx of new puppies, but it seems that this proud mama is handling her adoption pretty well. And it looks like she’s proud of her growing young brood too! What a wonderful sight to behold.
