Man In Wheelchair Gives Paralyzed Dog A Second Chance At Life

A little good here and there makes the world a better place for dogs to live in. While we are aware that not all dogs would get to have the best life possible, it is always great to hear good news about dogs getting a second chance at a better life.

The San Antonio Pets Alive rescue recently saved a dog from euthanasia. The dog, Chance, was facing euthanasia after being struck by a car and left for dead. Sadly, dogs hit by cars are left unattended in many cases. As a result, many do not survive due to internal injuries and bleeding.

When a member of the rescue, Michael, saw the poor pup, he knew he had to intervene, so he informed his wife. Chance was already paralyzed by the time Michael found him, but Michael knew he and his wife were in a better position to help the dog because they understood his struggle very well.

"I knew his struggles as well as mine, and I knew that we could overcome those obstacles together," Michael said in a video. Chance needed a device to move around, and so did Michael too.

Chance and Michael are inseparable now. Watching the duo play together is such a beautiful thing to see. Thanks to Michael's intervention, a match made in heaven was born.
