Just about every pup that hails from a working breed likes to feel useful – it is just an inherent part of their nature! Since it makes them happy, it should be a no-brainer to just let them work and have fun on our behalf. No need to look a gift horse in the mouth, right?

This German Shepherd is pretty used to carrying things for his parents, but this time he has an extra-important job – he is to carry a present from the car into the house for his Mom, on her birthday! His Mom has no idea about the surprise that awaits her, and so is absolutely clueless about what is to come.

The pup is clearly enjoying every moment of it – he carries in the present with all the pomp and grandeur he can muster in his excited puppy body. When Mom sees just what he has brought with him, she starts squealing in excitement – and that is his cue to know that he performed his task perfectly!
