Mom Comes Up With A Force Field To Stop Her Dogs From Destroying Her Christmas Tree!

A dog is a great addition to the family. But even for the greatest of dog lovers, multiple dogs in the same household can be a handful!

Scoop, Zoey, Chloe and Chancey Boy are four rescue dogs who all live with the Hughes family. They do everything together and absolutely love their new parents. In fact, they can get a little anxious when they are left alone. The Hughes are no stranger to a little destruction after they been out together, leaving the dogs at home.

Brenda, the dogs’ mum, said that she is their comfort zone, and that they tear up whatever they can get a hold of when she’s not around. And of course, when Christmas comes around, the tree gets destroyed every year!

So much so, that the family has had to get very creative about how they decorate the home. But the harder they try, the more the foursome seems encouraged by the challenge! In the end, the Hughes had no choice but to shell out $200 for a 5-foot metal gate to erect around the Christmas tree.

And try though they might, the dogs have yet to break through.

Of course, we said, “yet…” Occasionally, the Hughes will catch the dogs standing quietly, staring at the setup, and they can’t be entirely sure whether the pups are admiring the tree or plotting their next attack!
