Freida the Dachshund pup looks like a very innocent, perfect little angel. But behind those big, wide eyes lies permanently fixed in a puppy dog expression, a mischievous streak lives on in an enthusiastic and amusing fury.

Rachel Silverstein, Freida’s Mom, has a very close relationship with the pot. In fact, most of the time, they are practically joined at the hip! They go out to restaurants, take a dive in pools, and enjoy going on hikes together. You would rarely ever see them apart!

But one day, Silverstein couldn’t find Freida. She wandered around the whole house, calling the little pup’s name, and searching everywhere high and low. She even started to worry that the pup had found an open window or door and had managed to slip out.

That’s when Silverstein noticed something extremely cute. Inside Freida’s generous toy bucket, an extra plaything seemed to have been conjured up from nowhere. But it wasn’t actually a toy. It was Freida herself!

The entire time, the naughty pup had just watched as her beloved Mom walked back and forth nervously through the house in search of her. Instead of speaking up to announce herself, Freida decided to just enjoy the show.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that Freida has decided to play an impromptu game of hide and seek. In the past, she’s hidden under the bed and even burrowed her way into the laundry basket. She seems to enjoy making Mom look for her. It’s her favorite prank to pull!

Freida was once a therapy dog, and her intelligence really shines through in moments like these. It looks like she will be continuing to find better and better hiding spots. We hope Mum can keep up!
