Pup Thrown From A Second-Story Window Gets Adopted By Woman Who Rescues Him

Charlie the pup has been through a lot in the recent months. Back in October 2018, when he was still named Wrinkles, Charlie was thrown out of a window on the second story of a building, resulting in severe injury.

The pup suffered a total of five broken bones just in his forelimb, and his back femur also sustained a fracture. The person who allegedly threw him out was Joanne Hoose, a woman aged 28 years old. The incident took place in Canajoharie, which is a New York village. Police officers arrested Hoose and she was subsequently charged for her crimes of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.

When Wrinkles was first so cruelly discarded of, the pup was just 7 months old – a mere puppy. A woman named Elizabeth Snyder noticed the poor dog and went to help him. She said that it was likely the most heartbreaking and devastating sight she had ever witnessed.

Thankfully, Snyder was able to rescue the pup and have him receive the medical treatment and attention he needed so desperately. It’s a miracle that the puppy survived the horrifying fall, but clearly he had always been a fighter, as he began to make his recovery soon after.

Of course, Wrinkles couldn’t go back to his original home – not when he had been treated so poorly. That’s when Snyder decided to adopt the pup and rename him Charlie. This week, the adoption papers were finalized, and now Charlie lives in a forever loving home where he is finally safe from harm! The fact that he is now healthy and happy living with his new Mom, the same person who rescued him, is truly a touching tale.
