Puppies Rescued From South Korean Puppy Mill Finally Arrive In Washington

When the owner of a puppy mill in South Korea, who provided beagle pups to laboratories for research and animal testing, found that he had cancer, he decided to get rid of his remaining pups in a horrible way.

He was going to sell them to neighbors and those who worked in the dog meat trade.

Luckily, an animal-loving woman was able to prevent this by purchasing all of the beagles from him. They had been living in cramped cages and dirty conditions.

Her act saved the pups’ lives, but then she faced a new problem – where would they go? Luckily, the Seattle Beagle Rescue stepped in to help.

The pups are now being brought to Washington, where they will find homes and families. They are slowly being brought over, but it costs $500 to bring just one pup over!
