All golden retriever parents know well how much they love water. Just about any water. Be it a pond, lake, ocean, river, or just a simple dirt pond on the street, there you go; you just know the Goldie will get right into it.
For rain we are not so sure. However, just because of a Goldie and the rain, one sweet story made stars of one security guard and one golden retriever. Ethan Dearman, a security guard who works at the Morrisons supermarket in Giffnock, Scotland, who was doing his usual rounds around the store when he stumbled upon a lone golden retriever in the rain. The dog actually looked very sad, yet, was patiently waiting for his parent to come out.
Without any second thought, Ethan approached the adorable dog and held his umbrella over him so that the golden boy doesn’t get wet. That sweet gesture was noticed by Mel Gracie, a tattoo artist from Glasgow; she was in her car when she noticed this and took a snap, leaving it on Twitter saying: “Shout out to this @Morrisons security man keeping this good boy dry.” Surprisingly enough the picture went viral. In just a few days, the photo received over 143,000 likes with nearly 20,000 retweets.
Soon it turned out that the dog’s name is Freddie and his father David spoke to the public saying thanks to Ethan for protecting Freddie from the rain.
This adorable image is still being widely shared and praising Ethan for this act of goodness, making the internet community to simply fall in love with this adorable moment!
