Stolen Pup Returns To His Family After Speedy Recovery By Colorado Springs Police & Partner Shelter

It was on November 30 of this year when a young Siberian husky was reported stolen by his family that early Monday morning.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), then, heeded the call and immediately worked alongside the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR), a non-profit organization and the largest animal welfare group in Southern Colorado, in order to track down and retrieve the missing pup.

After a few hours since the Siberian husky had been reportedly missing, the CSPD and HSPPR were able to pick up some leads and track down the missing canine.

Much to the relief and joy of his family, the Southern Colorado police and partner shelter were able to retrieve the adorable pup, who was fortunate to be alive and unharmed. After hours of being reported missing, the recovered Siberian husky was, then, reunited with his worried parents.

Now, back in the comfort and safety of his family and home, the adorable pup and his parents can now look forward with joy and anticipation of the coming holidays. The Colorado Springs police officers, who have been instrumental in the successful recovery of the missing pup, happily recount their recent experience and said that “even the fluffiest and furriest residents need their help.”

Indeed, if not for the swift action on the case, life could have turned out quite differently for both the stolen pup and his family.
