In a small town called Kenansville, in North Carolina, their local Dollar General was facing the cutest thief they have ever come across. It seemed that Sisu, the area’s large male stray dog, had repeatedly stolen the store’s purple unicorn plush toy.
After around 5 times, the staff caught him in the act and called animal control. A Duplin County Animal Control officer responded to the call and took Sisu back to the shelter. Later that day, the officer went to the same Dollar General and purchased the purple unicorn for Sisu.
The shelter posted a picture of the suspect with his toy on Facebook, along with a funny caption stating, “This is what happens when you break into the dollar general consistently to steal a unicorn toy that you laid claim to, but then get animal control called to lock you up, only for the officer to go and purchase the item for you.”
The shelter jokes that Sisu is a great example of how they treat their dogs. Many reacted to this funny post and agreed that Sisu has gotten the best treatment out of any “criminal” they have ever seen.
On top of this, in only a day, the shelter was astounded by how many adoption requests Sisu had received. Within the next few days, he was happily adopted. Of course, Sisu was adopted along with his purple unicorn toy and is very happy with his new family. Now, Sisu doesn’t need to sneak into any more Dollar Generals to get his toys, his new family is happy to provide them for him.
