Jimmy Chipolata, a lovely sausage dog, has gone viral for his adorable therapy dog services for students in the past – and he’s now a fashion icon featured in Vogue!
Jimmy and his 45-year-old Mom, Debra Easter, work together. Easter is a head of student employability while Jimmy is the first in-house therapy dog for students of his breed in the United Kingdom. When he first came to Debra’s home, the dog was extremely obese and couldn’t even walk, but now, he’s doing better and living his best life helping to keep students calm.
After going viral, Jimmy appeared in an issue of Vogue. After that, Debra decided to embark on a business venture: for luxury dachshund clothing. Yes, you read that right! You see, Jimmy has always had difficulty finding clothes to wear because of his odd, long shape, and it’s a problem many dachshunds face. Cashmere jumpers, velvet collars, tweed jacks, hats, and scarves – you can find them all in the clothing line!
Jimmy loves his newfound fame, and he enjoys meeting new people. He’s always wearing cute hats, so he gets lots of attention. The clothes are all made locally, with a portion of the proceeds going to Student Minds, a mental health charity. Famous and philanthropic!
