Meet this super excited and adorably silly golden retriever pup who went to the beach today only to find his latest hobby – tearing apart palm frond husks! This is just too adorable!
According to the original uploader on YouTube, “Our 3 year old English cream golden retriever loves to tear apart palm frond husks, tree branches, sticks, cardboard boxes, paper towels, tissues and paper.” But a word of caution, this can be dangerous.
According to Vet Info, “Certain types of palm trees can be toxic to dogs. Generally the toxic part is the seed, but it wouldn’t hurt to restrict your dog from eating the bark as well. Even if the plant itself is not toxic, eating too much of this bark could cause your dog to develop an intestinal obstruction requiring surgery.” Luckily, it looks like this fur kid is just enjoying the act of destruction but doesn’t really want to eat the bark.
