Tammy the golden retriever wasn’t going to leave the wee lamb all alone because the mom rejected her after birth. She had plans for the lamb, big plans! Check this out!
Stormy, the lamb, was born on the 17th of May at a farm near Winnipeg, but immediately after the birth, the mother abandoned her. Now Stormy may not have had much of a chance in life because of this, but it looks like the mother knew that Stormy was to grow up to having a dog for a mom! Today Tammy, the golden retriever, is Stormy’s mommy!
The 1-year old golden retriever went ahead and ‘adopted’ the wee lamb and loves it like her own! “I was outside working all day, and I’d turn around and they’d be (lying) under a tree sleeping, or just hanging out,” said Cathy Fleury, the girls’ mom. “They actually crawled up on the porch once and they were sleeping up there.” Since neither Tammy nor Stormy can live without each other, it has been decided that Stormy will live at the farm with her mommy forever!
