Bentley the German shepherd decided that he was going to have something exotic for breakfast today…how about bubbles? Yeah so sounds like a plan, doesn’t it, nope…LOL
As pet parents, you’re almost always wondering if normal things you do are safe for your fur kids, I don’t blame you, we’re all like that. But when we think of bubbles, are they safe for your fur kid? According to some people, their fur kids get loose motions from “eating” bubbles because of the soap.
So how can we make the perfect bubble recipe that’s going to be safe for our fur kids? Here’s the recipe according to Dog Treat Kitchen, “One easy recipe for homemade bubbles that works nicely is 1/4 cup of liquid dish soap, 1/2 cup of water, 1 tsp sugar and one bouillon cube. Place bouillon cube in the 1/2 cup of water and microwave for 30 seconds or until it is dissolved. Place all ingredients in a small bowl and stir gently until combined. The mixture will be thick. Use a bubble wand or very small funnel to blow bubbles. Another tip is to make it a day before you intend to use the bubbles and to keep it in an air tight container.”
