Just about every country has laws on how you aren’t allowed to adopt and bring home pups until they are at least 7-8 weeks old and fully weaned from their mother. This is to ensure that both mother and litter will have as little separation trauma as possible, and that both are socially and physically ready to part ways first!
That said, it doesn’t mean you can’t constantly check in to visit on the puppy you have chosen to adopt! This pair of parents are absolutely in love with this tiny 6-week-old Golden Retriever that they have named Jefferson. They have been keeping an eye on him as he grows up, and this happens to be another visit of theirs where they can interact with the puppy in person!
It seems that this pup happens to love the camera – he found the camera on his Dad’s phone far more fascinating than he did his chew toy!
