While just about every pup can swim if they want to, some pups were bred for the explicit purpose of doing well in the water – and the Labrador Retriever happens to be one of them!
With their boundless energy and strong, oar-like tail, these versatile pups have no problem navigating water currents to get to where they wanna go!
River water in early spring may be a bit too cold for us humans to consider taking a dip in, but these Labrador Retriever pups just adore the water – no matter the temperature! One is already happily swimming against the current (and making no headway, it looks like), while the other needs a moment to adjust to the water.
Once he does though, he is happy to go and join his friend for a swim! Considering these pups are usually very energetic, this is a great way for them to burn off all that excess energy. They are certainly going to be happy (but tired!) pups when they reach back home!
