There’s a stereotype that dogs are more friendly than cats, especially if they know each other! Even if they defy the odds and become best friends, people seem to expect that the pup will be showering the kit with love while the latter merely tolerates the energetic attention.

This video clearly shows that this is not always the case!

This Bengal cat absolutely loves his new best friend and little sibling, a dachshund puppy. They always cuddle together, and when they do, the cat just can’t resist covering his little baby sibling with tons of licks and kisses. Is he grooming the pup? Giving them a good bath? Soothing them to sleep? Just showering them with affection? Whatever the case, it sure is cute!

These two pals are absolutely inseparable, even despite all their differences. A species variation isn’t going to stop the Bengal kitty from showing his dachshund puppy sibling just how much he loves them!
