What child hasn’t dreamt of getting a puppy? It seems like a pretty quintessential thing for a child – if they haven’t grown up with one, they would want one very much for Christmas!
Alas, not all children can realistically be given puppies – it’s a lifelong commitment, and a lot of hard work!
Every now and then, however, some children will get their wish – maybe their parents think they are now old enough to take care of a puppy, or maybe they just want one to complete the family. Either way, these two sisters from Lennoxtown, Scotland are getting their wish – their very own German Shepherd puppy!
If you couldn’t tell by their squealing, these girls are delighted to make their new family member’s acquaintance! It’s a real dream come true for them, especially after the loss of their previous pup the year before. Hopefully, the family will have many more happy years with this one!
