Some of us may have hobbies that include some pretty niche stuff – like hatching eggs! This isn’t a hobby you will see many people indulge in, but breeding and raising all sorts of fowl can be a wonderful experience – and often a lot easier than caring for a dam as she undergoes pregnancy!
With some hard work, preparation, and a little luck, this parent has successfully hatched a whole clutch of ducklings! After a few weeks of care and life under a heat lamp, they will be released into the gardens outside with the other ducks.
Until then, Loulou the Dachshund pup is in charge of taking care of these little things! She is clearly curious about her new charges, but takes on her job with pride. She will make an excellent duck mom, it seems – especially with the way they all like snuggling up to her and follow her everywhere!
