This Adorable Pup Is Busy Listening To Something - Can You Guess What It Is?!

If you weren’t aware, Beagles were originally bred to be hunters – they were supposed to help their masters chase down prey. These days, these intelligent pups are usually kept as family pets – unless you have them by your side when sport hunting or putting them to work elsewhere!

That doesn’t mean, however, that they have forgotten their roots. Just look at how Fred responds when he hears the sound of a Beagle pack on the hunt! His ears prick up, and he is paying full attention to the sound. Unfortunately for this aspiring hunter, it’s just a video – he can’t really join any hunting packs near him.

That said, he might like being a hunter himself! He certainly seems interested, based on his reaction. Maybe Mum should consider seeing if she can let him unleash those instincts someplace safe to fulfill his need to hunt down something. With the help of a toy, perhaps?
