As a breed, Labrador Retrievers got their name from how they were used to help retrieve fowl after they had been shot down by hunters. To be able to do this, these pups must have been bred with the innate need to go chasing after things, and to carry the prize back gently, without harming it!
This Black Labrador Retriever is showing his heritage via his love of holding things for his beloved Mom! He wants to be helpful, you see. All this pup has is just a piece of paper, but carrying it around for Mom is a very important task. He must not lose it!
And even though all he is carrying is nothing more than some paper, it is the act of being helpful that this pup is loving. You can see just how excited he is, with the way he is moving around and wagging his tail like mad!
