This Adorable Pup Is Having The Time Of His Life Playing With His Bird Friend!

Trying to introduce two new animals to each other can be a pretty difficult task – especially if they are of two completely different species! Then not only do you need them to get along as housemates but also get them to understand each other’s body language! Just what can you do?

It gets even harder when it involves a pup and a bird since prey drives can become highly problematic. One of the easiest ways to overcome that is to socialize your pups when they are young – which is what this family is doing with their Dachshund puppy!

This poor pup has never met a parrot before and has no idea how to interact with it. Should he play? Does it understand play? It doesn’t help that at this size, this bird is pretty brave and is more than capable of being a threat! Hopefully, they will become friends in the future, but it looks like it’s going to take a while!
