This Adorable Pup May Be Blind, But That Doesn't Stop Him From Moving Around!

As creatures who rely so much on sight, the idea of being blind can be highly alarming to most of us. It is an understandable fear, but one that is largely unfounded – people can easily lead full lives even with the loss of their vision.

And when you are a pup with a superior sense of smell and hearing, it’s even less of an issue!

Need an example? Just take a look at Herbie the Dachshund pup! At the age of 14, this senior pup is still going strong. You might think that developing cataracts would have slowed him down a bit, but it doesn’t look like it bothers him too much – aside from being nervous in his surroundings!

That, however, is something his family can easily change. They can ensure that nothing in his environment changes so he can navigate it from memory, or get him a guide pup that’ll help him move around easily!
