This Adorable Pup Paralyzed From The Waist Down Recovers And Begins Walking Again

Here’s a question for you to ponder – how do you deal with a disabled pup? Disabilities are a part-and-parcel of life, and it is something we must just learn to accept and deal with.

But in times of distress, just how are you supposed to handle your own feelings while helping your newly-disabled pup?

When this family woke up one fateful morning to find Licorice paralyzed from the waist down, their lives changed forever. Up until that moment, Licorice was a happy-go-lucky Dachshund pup, who loved to run around and play. Alas, Dachshunds are well-known for their spine problems, and Licorice got very unlucky with what befell him.

His parents wasted no time, and rushed him to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Midvale, Utah. There, the vets performed life-saving emergency surgery on the pup. From there onwards, it was a slow recovery – but after a while, he was able to walk again!
