Have you ever owned a sugar glider? They are small marsupials that love to climb and clamber all over their parents. And, evidently, anyone else in the house that they trust! (But for the most part it’s just their parents, since they trust them the most.)
You don’t really expect these animals to live together with a pup in the same house peacefully. Small, jumpy animals trying to get along with bigger creatures that have a prey drive? That has got to be a recipe for disaster! Luckily, this isn’t an issue with Loulou the Dachshund, since she is such a gentle pup!
You can see her chilling on the sofa with one of the sugar gliders. It’s pretty obvious that the two of them are pretty safe and comfortable with each other – a lovely sight to see! Hopefully Loulou will continue to live a happy and idyllic life with all of her many friends, from all sorts of species!
