If you think the English Bulldog we know today is far too inbred, then meet the Olde English Bulldogge – an American breed created in the 1970s.
The breed was designed to maintain that sweet nature and personality, while creating a look that is much healthier, more athletic, and harkens back to the traditional look of the breed in the 1820s.
And boy does that power show! This pup proves that all those breeding attempts were successful in this video, where he leaps over logs and dashes through the leaves with a kind of energy and enthusiasm you would better associate with a Retriever or a German Shepherd!
All that power, speed, and focus are on full display as we watch him chase down his favorite stick and ball. Just look at how he sends leaves flying in his wake from his speed and intensity! This pup isn’t going to slow down for anyone, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
