Normally, you would only adopt your puppy once they are 7 or 8 weeks old and fully weaned. This is to ensure that the puppy and mother are ready to part their separate ways mentally and emotionally, and the puppy is capable of being independent.
However, this can’t always be the case. Sometimes, through a series of unfortunate events, you have to take care of a puppy early. At 24-days-old, this Labrador Retriever puppy named Milo really needs to be with its mother, or with another pup who is capable of taking care of it.
Alas, with none around, this parent will have to their best to care for this pup. After seeing this puppy, however, they are filled with determination, and plan to care and raise it the best they can! Hopefully things will work out, and it will grow up strong and healthy – just like any other puppy!
