Dogs show love to their humans in many different ways. Some bark and make a scene, others jump for joy, and some bring them gifts. Levi is the gift-giving type of dog and he always tries his best to show his mom just how much he loves her.
Levi is a Lab mix and it seems like every time his mom comes home, he always has something new to give her. For his mom, it’s the thought that counts.
One time, Levi brought Lori Eddins, his mom an open, half-chewed box of screws. She was so surprised that she took him to the vet immediately hoping he didn’t swallow any of them. They did an X-ray and luckily he didn’t swallow any. This reaction turned this instance into a regular thing for Levi.
His mom never knows what type of gift she will get when she comes home after work. Some of his most memorable gifts include his own prized toys, blankets, bones, pieces of cardboard or paper, landscape timber, and clumps of grass. He even brought her flowers one time!
He’s now always able to bring her a gift, so whenever he is empty handed, his mom cheers him up by giving him her kets. He’s so proud to bring them to the door.
Other notorious gifts from Levi include clumps of horse manure and even one of the chickens on the property! Of course, the chickens hate being carried but he does it anyway.
He just wants to show his mom just how much he loves her. She repays him with big hugs and kisses.
