This Smart Pup Knows That If There's One thing She Can Gnaw... It's Her Favorite Tennis Ball!

One thing that is very important to bear in mind when bringing home a new puppy to raise as part of your family is that they will bite everything! As any Mom or Dad with a shoe rack of ruined footwear can attest, puppies love biting and chewing things while teething, just like human babies. The only difference is, puppies tend to have pointy, needle-sharp teeth. Ouch!

Because of this, to avoid any undue damage to your various body parts, belongings, or furniture, it is highly important to redirect that chewing urge to more appropriate devices and places. This usually comes in the form of a toy to chew on!

This little Golden Retriever puppy is using her tennis ball just for that – gnawing! It is a good thing the ball is as big as it is compared to her – as she grows bigger, her parents will have to ensure her toys are too big to fit comfortably in her mouth. This way, her toys won’t become a choking hazard!
