Puppies are incredibly fragile little creatures, so it is understandable why prospective Dads and Moms have to wait a while before they can bring their new pup back home. 7 to 8 weeks doesn’t seem like a long time to wait when you remember just how young these babies are!

These German Shepherd pups are only 5 years old, and aren’t quite fully weaned yet. At this age, they can already be socialized, and are starting to play with each other a lot more. This is why these puppies have such a big playpen for them to tumble around in!

While these puppies have fun in the pen, you can briefly see their mom’s feet on the couch that had been placed inside the playpen. And it is a good thing too – it lets her have a break from dealing with her puppies, while enjoying a bird’s eye view over her litter!
