Tiny Dog Loves Seeing His Best Friend, The Mailman, Every Day

There’s this widely spread rumour that dogs don’t like mailmen. Even in movies, it’s always shown how dogs chase after mailmen, trying to scare them away. But, in reality, dogs love when they show up at the door.

Especially Frannie, a little dog for whom the highlight of the day is hearing the mail truck pulling in front of her house. Frannie is a 5-month-old longhaired Chihuahua that lives in a nice neighbourhood with her family. Part of her daily routine is standing by the door, waiting for the truck to show up in front of her house.

And every time the truck appears, Frannie’s mood visibly goes up. She doesn’t care about the letters. What she is really looking forward to is seeing Dan, the mailman. Lisa Laskey, Frannie’s mom, says that the little dog fell in love with Dan from the first time she saw him. The pair met the day after Lisa adopted Frannie.

On that day, Lisa went out to retrieve her mail, and she was cradling the puppy. She stopped to have a little chat with Dan and asked him if he’d like to hold the puppy. So, Dan got out of the truck, held Frannie, and a connection was instantly formed. Now, every time Dan comes to deliver the mail, he and Frannie have a little cuddle session.

Dan is so kind to Frannie, letting her kiss him and petting her as much as she wants to. Lisa is sure that Dan loves these little visits as much as Frannie does. Their bond has matured into a real friendship, and hopefully, it will never lose that special spark.
