If you’ve always wanted to be a dog photographer but didn’t know where to start, this post will likely help you get started. There are certain tricks and tips to make dogs fall in love with you!
Yep, so let’s not waste any more time, here are some tips to help you become a better dog photographer! Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!
1. Underexposure
When you want to photograph black dogs, don’t use artificial light to make them look bright. Underexpose is the way to go so you can capture natural, and beautiful pictures!
2. Patience
Dogs are humans too, and so you need to have some amount of patience when you’re working to photograph them. Remember, every dog is different and while some won’t mind posing for you, others will take their time!
3. Practice
Remember to practice photographing dogs every day, you never know what you learn! Most dog photographers claim that by practicing they learn new things every day!
4. Comfortable Clothes
If you’re going to constantly worry about your clothes and if a dog would make them dirty, don’t wear them! Wear something you won’t mind getting dirty with and something that is comfortable.
5. Rewards
If a dog poses for you, make sure you reward them with a treat or pets after the photoshoot session is complete!
