How many police officers does it take to rescue a drowning dog? Well, that is a silly question! It doesn’t matter how many it takes as long as the dog is saved!
The video below was taken with a police officer’s body cam. The police responded to a call about a dog that was drowning in a canal. The officers worked for several minutes to pull the exhausted and scared dog from the water. Based on the text in the video, this rescue happened on January 8, 2018!
Can you imagine how grateful that dog was to finally have someone come to his aid? It would be an amazing feeling to be able to save a life! You can save a life too! If you see or suspect that an animal is being abused, reach out to the police or animal shelter in your area for help. BE the voice for those who can’t speak.
