There’s a reason they sell cat and pup beds separately, right? Even if smaller pups can be the same size (or smaller!) than cats, although realistically you could probably exchange the two and neither would notice.

But when it involves a bed that is clearly too big for the cat, you start asking questions.

All Gerty the poor German Shepherd wanted was a good nap in his very cozy bed. There is, however, just one problem – someone is already using it. Mrs Peepers, the family cat, had decided that this oversized bed was suiting to someone of her stature and beauty.

It was not an ownership she would keep for long, however. Gerty steps back up to reassert dominance over her belongings, and noses Mrs Peepers out of the way. It’s not an easy task, however – Mrs Peepers doesn’t want to give up her new dominion! Thankfully, he gets it back in the end!
