As parents will get to know quickly, some pup breeds are known to be incredibly clingy and dependent. This is often because these pups were bred to be emotionally dependent, and to work well in families! A great thing if you want a loving pup, but it does mean they demand lots of affection constantly!

Labrador Retrievers like Sultan are a great example of pups who absolutely crave as much attention and affection as they can possibly ever get. Sultan is normally the start of the show and the apple of his parents’ eye, but sometimes they just want to do their own thing and not bow along to their ruler’s every wish.

Of course, Sultan isn’t too pleased about this. Surely he is all they need to pay attention to, right? So he stands in front of Dad, willing him to notice. And when it doesn’t happen, Sultan starts barking and whining to get his attention!
