When It Comes To Fruit And Fibre Treats, This Adorable Pup Doesn't Like Sharing At All!

Pups are actually functionally omnivores – they work best on an all-meat diet (and in fact, should have an all-meat diet if you want them to thrive), but are perfectly capable of digesting fibrous foods as well. This means they can have all sorts of fun fruits and veggies as snacks!

Some entrepreneurial folks out there have taken advantage of this fact, and have devised a whole line of yummy fruits and fibre-based treats for pups to eat. Mom thought it was interesting, and so had brought home a box to check out and try with her pups, Shadow the German Shepherd and his Chihuahua sibling.

It seems that Shadow is perhaps a little too enthusiastic about this yummy new snack – while Mom was still checking out the box, Shadow decides all this waiting is very silly – why not just open the box right now? And with that, he takes matters into his own hands!
