If anything, pups are very, very good at pattern recognition. Which means, if you go out for a walk at about the same time every day, and go through the same preparation routine each time, your pups will know! This may result in your pup annoying you or already awaiting you when it is go time, and being ahead of you every step of the way!
Pipas the Beagle absolutely adores walks – so when it is time to go out for a stroll, she gets super excited! She is constantly a few steps ahead of her Dad and keeps looking back as if to ask why is he being so slow. They have places to see, people to meet!
And once the harness it out, Pipas goes wild! She tries to grab and pull down the harness towards herself, since she knows that once it is on, it means she can go out for a walk! What a smart pup.
