Woman Rescues Stray Dog Living In A Dollar Store Parking Lot

Kristin is a dog rescuer and foster committed to saving stray dogs in Dayton, Texas. According to Kristin, her county does not have any dog shelter, so it is up to her and other kindhearted individuals to help dogs in need. 

Kristin recently rescued an adorable brown dog at a Dollar General. The store employees had spotted the dog three weeks earlier in the parking lot.

When Kristin enquired about the dog after seeing him resting under a chair by the store's front door, employees informed her that another rescuer was coming to pick him up. However, the person didn't show up, so Kristin returned that evening to pick the dog and take him home.

In an update Kristin shared on TikTok, she revealed the dog has been sleeping a lot. We can only imagine how rough life must have been for him when he was living on the street. Thankfully, he's safe now. 

Kristin named the dog Robbie, and after giving him plenty of time to recoup, she scheduled him to be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated courtesy of Lola's Lucky Day, a local rescue in the Houston area.

Although Robbie is a good boy, Kristin won't keep him for long because she has a "handful" of rescue dogs at home already. She revealed that the pup would be transferred to Wisconsin once he's vetted.
