Woman Saves Aggressive Dog's Life By Adopting Him A Day Before He Was To Be Euthanised

Although many shelters’ goal is to make life more comfortable for dogs, some dogs still do not have everything going well for them even when in shelters. In this particular case, the dog was termed “aggressive,” and the shelter decided to put her down soon.

The dog, named Mulan, had only one more day to live. Fortunately, a kind woman named Martha showed up to save her.

Many shelters conduct a temperament test before accepting any dog into their home. If a dog shows serious signs of aggression, the dog is put to sleep because they consider them a liability.

While no-kill shelters may decide to take an aggressive dog, they may not accept a dog with a bite history. Many insurance companies are also unwilling to cover dogs with a bite history due to the potential legal and medical costs.

Mulan didn’t have a bite history. However, she was nervous at first when she met Martha. It took more than two hours and persistence from Martha to get him to calm down and trust her. After Martha eventually got him to calm down, they formed a new beautiful relationship.

Thanks to Martha’s patience and perseverance, Mulan now has a forever home and plenty of dog friends to spend her life with.
