Meet Gigi, an adorable English bulldog pup who was born with congenital canine mega esophagus. But does this get in her way of looking cute and cuddly? Nope, not at all! Check her out!

According to the original uploader on YouTube, “GiGi is my 8 year old English Bulldog. She was born with congenital canine mega esophagus, which is a swallowing disorder that affects thousands of dogs. The Bailey Chair holds the dog in a vertical position while eating, so that the food goes directly into her stomach rather than into her lung, due to her enlarged esophagus.”

But what exactly is this condition? this is actually the dilation of the esophagus, the tube that goes from the mouth to the tummy. Because of this condition, the pup can’t push food into the stomach for digestion and thus comes back right up. This is why pups suffering from this condition have to be made to sit or stand so the food can go straight into the stomach.
