This is the story of a Tingum family, who simply cannot imagine their lives without their beloved golden retriever called Ruby. After Mrs. Tingum gave birth to her twin sons, they learned that one of them, a boy called Garrett, was suffering from a severe case of autism. First they refused to believe it because Garrett showed no signs of autism, but as he grew up things started becoming more complicated.

One day, without telling anyone, Garrett left the house to chase cars on the street and this is when the family realized that their son’s case was dangerous and that they had to be extremely careful. This is where Ruby the golden retriever takes the role of Garrett’s guardian angel! Being a service dog, Ruby has significantly helped Garrett and continues to help keep him safe and prevent him from hurting himself 🙂
