Yet another company recalls some of its dog food product because a routine test reveals Listeria. See what Stella & Chewy’s have to say about it.
It all started when we told you about Blue Buffalo, Nestle Purina, Boulder Dog Food Company, OC Raw Dog, and now Stella & Chewy’s. It has been reported that Stella & Chewy’s is recalling some of its products because during a routine test, Listeria was found in samples of its chicken freeze-dried dinner patties for dogs.
Those who don’t know yet, Listeria is known to have caused death in children, elderly and the sick. Healthy people who consume Listeria by accident can suffer from flu-like symptoms like high-fever, headache, nausea and sometimes diarrhea. Stella & Chewy’s have mentioned that fortunately they have not received any reports on pet or human illnesses.
